we spend two excellent weeks in seattle celebrating my little sister's wedding.
highlights of the trip include
- being a part of my second most favorite wedding - my own being the first
- watching my own hubby officiate the wedding
- rejoicing that my little zoom DIDN'T steal the show, but walked down the aisle as if he were a shy little boy
- hearing him say that "dancing" was his favorite part of "the wedding show"
- getting some serious landscaping done in my parents 35 year old overgrown garden - it looks fab!!
- hearing zoom boss the dog, "jake, stay on sIDewalk", "jake, come HEre"
- welcoming hubby back from a successful summit of Mt. Rainier (and then hearing the hairy story)
- having four plus adults to one very active toddler
- sleeping in, nearly every morning
- not overbooking
- getting a night away, just hubby and i! first time since zoom's birth
- coming home with mostly clean clothes (thanks mom for doing our laundry the entire time!)
- coming home to find all our plants alive!
- coming home to find the businesses survived us being gone for 2 weeks!
- every one of us getting sick at least one day of the trip
- zoom arranging his sickness during his birthday party
- coming home to find a sub took off with the down payment and some of our tools

It sounds like a lovely time...
But a sub [sub-contractor?] taking money and tools -- yikes. Do you know who it was and/or what course of action are you taking?? You can email me this, if you'd like. Sheesh.
But the trip...it sounds wonderful. Don't you love the luxury that a full 2 weeks provides? I love how relaxed it is.
