it's been a while and lots has happened
we have a baby GIRL!! our little ladybug is precious! she sleeps, she coos, she snuggles, she adores us all and we are smitten!
our little zoom is a full grown boy now that he is a big brother. it really does seem like he has grown up so much! maybe its that he is HUGE compared to the ladybug - who wasn't so tiny herself. she arrived a healthy 8lbs 8oz and 23 inches long, nearly 2lbs more than her brother! more on her birth soon - believe it or not i still haven't finished detailing out her birth story, but will post it when i do finish - and i will!
but for now, a few quotes:
- running to the bathroom, "i need to go poo. i need to go tigger too!"
- stopping dad from purchasing a red sled, "red means stop, green means go. i want a green sled!"
- responding to me, "well, mama. well...."
- "i'm so curious!"
- in the fabric store, touching again, "but mom, it's so tempting!"
- overheard during playtime, "i'm patiently waiting for a parking spot so i can go eat at the chinese restaurant"
- responding to dad, who called him bra! "no, don't call me that! it's for mama's milk"
- walking thru the kitchen carrying blankets and stuffed animals, "i'm carrying a big-normous load of am-ni-mals into my room"
- leaving on a sub-zero day, "good fing you have a hat on"
- graham cracker = gamma cracker
- "dad! you did a fantastic job vacuming!"
- "where is Maine in dis Europe fing?"
